RELIVE SMTOWN ‘10: Performance Shots!

Earlier this week, allkpop brought you straight to the SMTOWN ‘10 press conference with exclusive photos from the Staples Center. I know you’ve been waiting anxiously for concert photos, and now they’re finally here!

After announcing that SMTOWN LA would take place in the world-class venue Staples Center, there was no question that SM Entertainment was going all out for their debut concert in North America. And indeed, SMTOWN surpassed expectations, boasting an audience 15,000 members strong with kpop fanatics, members of the American music industry and even the legendary Jack Nicholson (who reportedly bought ten tickets in advance!). With such an enormous congregation of people packed into five floors, the stadium was an overwhelming & deafening sight to behold. Not to mention dazzling – from the flashing glowsticks to the elaborate light-up signs, the audience became a sea of colorful, beaming lights that illuminated the stadium floors.

The audience was spoiled with not only performances of TVXQSuper Junior, SNSD, SHINeef(x)’s most popular hit songs, but also individual artists like BoAKangta and special stages from the Jung sisters Jessica & Krystal, Kangta & Ara and more. These photos mark the second installment of our five-part RELIVE SMTOWN ‘10 series. Enjoy!
